About SFE
Siever, Fonstad & Erdman was founded in 1978 as Advanced Accounting Services in Estevan, Saskatchewan. What began as a local accounting practice has grown into a trusted firm with deep roots in the community.
Originally located on 5th Street, the firm relocated to its current 4th Street location in 2009, where it continues to serve clients today.
In 1995, Mel Siever, CPA, CMA became a partner, followed in 2002 by the addition of Jim Vermeersch, FCPA, FCGA and Donna Fonstad, CPA, CGA. With this growth, the firm became known as Siever, Vermeersch & Fonstad. Ryan Siever, CPA, CA joined the partnership in 2007, continuing the firm’s commitment to strong leadership and professional excellence.
In 2018, following the retirement of Jim Vermeersch, Michelle Erdman, CPA joined the partnership, and the firm adopted its current name – Siever, Fonstad & Erdman.
For more than 40 years, we have remained locally owned and proudly serve individuals, families, and businesses throughout Estevan and Southeast Saskatchewan. Our focus has always been the same: providing trusted advice, clear guidance, and long-term relationships built on integrity.
