Ryan Siever, B.Sc., CPA, CA
Ryan graduated from Dickinson State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science, specializing in Accounting. After articling for 3 years in Calgary at BDO Dunwoody to obtain his Chartered Accounting designation, Ryan moved back to Estevan in September 2007, with his wife and son and started working at Siever, Vermeersch & Fonstad right away. He became a partner with the firm in November 2007.
Ryan spends time volunteering in the community, coaching travel baseball and sitting on the board of Estevan Minor Baseball since 2010, including a 2 year term as President in 2017 & 2018. Ryan is also an active member in the Rotary Club of Estevan, becoming a Rotarian in March 2010, joining the board and serving as Treasurer from 2010 until 2016. He became President-Elect in 2017 and served as President for the 2018 year. You’ll find him cooking steaks at the annual Rotary Lobsterfest held in June each year. Ryan and his wife enjoy watching their kids partake in many various activities and planning for the next family baseball road trip, wherever that may be.
Donna Fonstad, CPA, CGA
Donna received her Diploma in Accounting through SIAST Palliser in June of 1995, and has been employed with the firm since February of 1996. In the fall of 1998 Donna decided to further her education and pursue a career in accounting. She received her Certified General Accountant designation in August of 2003, at which time she became a partner in the firm of Siever, Fonstad & Erdman.
Outside of work Donna enjoys being busy with her two children, and is an active community volunteer.
Michelle Erdman, BBA, CPA
Michelle was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She is an alumnus of Campbell Collegiate (2009) and the University of Regina (2013), completing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting. While attending university Michelle was involved with many activities including JDC West, teaching assistant and various intramural sports. Michelle started working for the firm in 2013 during which time she received her Chartered Professional Accounting designation (2016) and became partner at Siever, Fonstad & Erdman in 2018. Michelle’s current areas of special interest include tax preparation and planning for individuals, trust and corporations as well as financial statement preparation. Michelle currently resides in Estevan with her family. In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors with friends/family, playing sports and getting involved in the community.
Melissa Terrett, Dipl. Acct.
Melissa joined the firm in 2003 as an Accounting Technician. She graduated from Torquay High School in 1999 and obtained a diploma in Accounting from the Palliser Campus in Moose Jaw in 2003. She has also obtained a diploma in Marketing and continues to further her education through online university classes. She currently resides in Torquay with her husband and their three children. Melissa is involved with Corporate and Personal tax preparation as well as the CAIS/AgriStability Program.
Kerry Babyak
Kerry joined the firm as an accounting technician in October of 2009. She graduated from Estevan Comprehensive High School and went to the University of Calgary for a few years working towards a General Studies degree, with a minor in Management and Sociology. While living in Calgary she worked at the head office of a land surveying company for 8 years mostly doing payroll, benefits, and accounts receivable. Kerry and her husband decided to move back to Estevan in 2009 with their two young children and are enjoying the change from big city to small city feel. She enjoys golfing, watching her kids play sports, and relaxing with family and friends.
Dakota Michael
Dakota joined the firm in July 2009 as our Administrative Assistant. She graduated from the Estevan Comprehensive School in June 2008 and received her certificate in small business bookkeeping in November 2009. Dakota was born and raised in the Estevan area. In her spare time she can be found watching or playing sports and spending time with her growing family.
Nicole Morris
Nicole moved to Estevan in September of 2011 from Moose Jaw where she had spent the last 21 years working for the Ministry of Social Services in various administrative positions. She joined our firm in July of 2012 as our receptionist and is enjoying her life in Estevan. Outside of work Nicole enjoys reading, knitting and spending time with her three grandchildren and dog, Buddy.
Erica Collomb
Erica joined the firm in December 2013 as our Administrative Assistant. She was born in Estevan but lived in Regina most of her life. She graduated from Sheldon-Williams Collegiate in 2009 and moved to Estevan shortly after. She is currently working towards her Accounting Diploma through Saskatchewan Polytechnic distance learning. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, camping & travelling with her husband and their three children.
Pamela Fortier BBA
Pam was born and raised in Dryden, Ontario. She is an alumnus of Lakehead University (1991), completing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting. Pam has many years of accounting technician experience and joined the team in 2019 when she moved to Estevan with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys quilting, crocheting, curling, golfing and traveling.
Simone Saigeon
Simone joined the firm in October 2022 as an Administrative Assistant after working with South East Cornerstone School Division for a number of years. Outside of work Simone enjoys spending time with her family. She is involved with the Estevan TaeKwon-Do Club and enjoys teaching the minis class.
Daylen Frehlick
Daylen was born and raised in Estevan, Saskatchewan. Daylen was in the Canadian Forces for 5 years. His old CO always said “If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.” That has stuck with him over the years and pushed him to succeed. Daylen finished his 2 year diploma at NAIT and has worked here at Siever, Fonstad & Erdman since the beginning of 2023. Daylen’s interests include watching hockey, drinking beer and playing video games.
Marissa Molstad
Marissa was born and raised in Edmonton, AB. She completed her life insurance license in the province of Alberta in 2016 with the goal to work in the insurance industry alongside her Father. In 2017 she moved to Estevan with a goal to open up a branch of her own while helping families build savings, plan for retirement, invest or purchase life insurance. She continues to carry a life license in Saskatchewan as this is now her home. Life had other plans for her, she decided to venture into something where she could grow and build a career in Estevan, bringing her to Siever, Fonstad & Erdman. She is married with two incredible step kids that keep them very busy outside of work, whether it be hockey, camping, fishing, or just spending time together since their schedules are always very full.
